NEUROMUSCULAR RE-EDUCATION

Neuromuscular Re-education (N.M.R.) is a therapeutic technique used to improve balance, coordination, posture, kinesthetic sense and propioception.
When an area is injured (whether it is muscle, connective tissue, fascia, tendon, or some combination of these) scar tissue, know as adhesions, is formed.
The objective of N.M.R. is to break the adhesions of the scar tissue to reduce pain and restore full range of motion.
Scar tissue, also known as adhesions is formed, when muscle, connective tissue, fascia, and/or tendons are injured.
